Moby, Tirrenia-CIN and Toremar are companies owned by the Italian holding company Onorato Armatori, which has been a leader in passenger and cargo maritime transportation for five generations. Ranking first worldwide in terms of number of beds and first in Europe with regard to passenger capacity, the Onorato Group employees up to 4,000 people, all Italian, including seasonal employees. Port of Ystad
Port of Ystad is located on the south coast of Sweden, very close to the bustling Bornholm strait. The port is Sweden’s 11th biggest port on cargo volumes. Furthermore, the port is number three related to ferry passengers due to the eminent ferry services of BornholmerFærgen, Unity Line and Polferries. Eventually, Port of Ystad is the utmost port for daily ferry service between Sweden and Poland. Port of Ystad offers daily ferry connections with Poland and the Danish island of Bornholm as well as stevedoring service for conventional bulk and general cargo vessels. Five ferry berths with connecting passenger terminals, conventional quays, loading equipment e.g. mobile crane capacity of 40 tonnes and dedicated port and stevedoring staff are available. During 2016 3.500 ship calls, 2.1 million passengers (new record – again!), 542.000 salon cars (new record – again!), 230.000 trucks (new record – again!) and 3.5 million tonnes of goods (new record – again!) were registered.
