Godby Shipping is a privately owned shipping company established 1973. Our aim is to offer high class tailor made sea transportation for the forest industry and liner operators. We operate a modern and competitive fleet under Finnish flag.
The vessels Misana (2007), Misida (2007) and Miranda (1999) are time chartered to Stena RoRo but relet to Transfennica and used in their liner service on the Baltic Sea and North Sea.
Mistral (1999) is chartered to P&O Ferries and is used in their liner traffic between the United Kingdom and Belgium.
Midas (1990) and Mimer (1990) are chartered to French CMA CGM and the American company Marinex Cargo Line respectively for their liner traffic in the Caribbean.
Link Star (1989) is chartered to Nor Lines and is used in their liner traffic between Finland, Poland, Denmark and Norway.
Baltica (1990) is on charter to TransProCon and is employed in their liner and project traffic on the Baltic Sea, North Sea and Mediterranean.
Our office and the vessels are certified by Lloyd's Register and Trafi (the Finnish Maritime Administration) in accordance with the ISM-code issued by IMO. Both the office and the shipboard routines are also certified by Lloyd's Register in accordance with the international ISO 14001 environmental management standard.
