DASPOS, a Danish company specializes in durable fire protection solutions to meet demands within the maritime industry, which has resulted in the Leakage Alarm System, LAS-10 - an atmospheric oil mist- and hydrocarbon detection system for the open engine room and the new Hot-Box Detector H-18.
Prevention of the fire risk is the right solution:
The LAS-10 solution is a fire-prevention solution. The functionality of the Leakage Alarm System builds on a very large amount of air flow - 10,000 liters per minute - which is led through a detection chamber and trough a specially designed filter. The electronics in the detector combines and analyzes simultaneously the content of both gasses and oil sprays.
A sudden increase in differential pressure over the installed filter gives a signal to the crew about the increased dangerous situation in the environment.

FerryGateway Association

FerryGateway (FGW) is an open source, free to use, communication standard between ferry operators and travel partners to enable increased revenue and lowered costs. In addition to this we also offer the FerryGateway Switch.
FGW contains a standardised set of messages that enables selling of ferry journeys including products and services on-board replacing all other used standards today. By using the FGW Switch you reach multiple ferry operators by just connecting to one single point.
FGW is an intellectual property of FerryGateway Association. It is free to use, but is controlled and supported by the Association. The FGW standard has been established since the beginning of 2015.
The FerryGateway Association consists of major European operators; Stena Line, DFDS, Viking Line, Tallink/Silja Line, Irish Ferries, Brittany Ferries and Color Line. The FerryGateway Association works for creating a smooth, easy and standardised communication between travel agents and ferry operators.

The vessels Misana (2007) and Misida (2007) are time chartered to Stena RoRo and are used in their liner service on the North Sea.
Mistral (1999) is chartered to P&O Ferries and is used in their liner traffic between the United Kingdom and Belgium.
Midas (1990) and Mimer (1990) are chartered to French CMA CGM respectively the American company Marinex Cargo Line for their liner traffic in the Caribbean.
Link Star (1989) is chartered to UPM-Kymmene and is used in their liner traffic between Finland, Germany and Spain.
Baltica (1990) is on charter to TransProCon and is employed in their liner and project traffic on the Baltic Sea, North Sea and Mediterranean.
